How long does it take to create a custom needle-felted pet portrait?

The creation process takes anywhere from one week to one month, depending on the pet's size, complexity, and features, as well as the type of portrait or sculpture.
Additionally, the total processing time from placing your order to receiving it is approximately five months.

How do we ensure you are satisfied with your custom portrait?

Throughout the creation process, we will send you photos and videos for your review. We will communicate with you regarding any questions and make adjustments to ensure a high degree of resemblance between the portrait and the photos you provided. We pay close attention to detail, striving to capture your pet's unique characteristics.
Please note that while we make every effort to faithfully reproduce your pet's likeness, colors may vary slightly due to differences in electronic displays. Additionally, the texture of the wool material and the inherent limitations of the needle-felting process mean that a 100% exact match may not be possible.

How is wool felt made?

Each Woolever Friend figurine is custom-made for your beloved pet using 100% soft, natural wool and the needle-felting technique—a process that involves hand-compressing wool fibers to create specific textures and shapes. The nose and mouth of each figurine are also handcrafted. Full-body Woolever Friend figurines feature an internal wire armature to provide stability and flexibility for the paws and tail.

How can I add realistic hair to a portrait?

If desired, we can incorporate your pet's real fur, ashes, whiskers, or teeth into the portrait. We will provide a mailing address for you to send these items after you place your order.
